Bonnie Castillo

Bonnie joined Team PPI in early 2010. Her list of poker credentials is quickly growing, and her love for poker is unwavering. She began as a player in 2005 in Atlantic City where she learned to play No Limit Texas Hold ‘Em. In 2006 she had her first cash at the final table of the USPC Ladies Event at the Taj Mahal where she chopped for first place. In 2008 she cashed in her first WSOP at the Ladies Event in 83rd out of 1190 players. She has since cashed in many other poker rooms and events including a 4th place finish in 2011 at the Golden Nugget Grand Poker Series in Limit Omaha hi/lo.

In 2011, after moving back to Canada, Bonnie became the Regional Brand Manager for High Heels Poker Tour where she promotes ladies events within Canada and the Northeastern Region of the United States. She is also the National Sales Manager for PMS Pokerwear in Canada. In 2012 Bonnie joined Blue Shark Optics as a sponsored pro with Team Canada.

Bonnie has also recently appeared as a featured player in Canadian Poker Player Magazine, has been a guest on The Poker Dish with Ontilt Radio and is also a Regional Correspondent with The Division of Poker Radio Show with ESPN Radio. She is a proud to be representing Poker Players International as a member of Team PPI and we look forward to more successes to come.

In her spare time she loves to cook, enjoys hiking through local provincial parks, is a major fan of the NFL, and is an active supporter of The Humane Society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.
