Steve Dannenmann burst on to the poker scene with a second place finish to Joe Hachem in the 2005 WSOP Main Event. Aside from earning over $4,000,000 in that event, Steve also earned many fans and the respect of his poker playing peers.
Steve is known not only for his tremendous skills in poker, but for his jovial personality and friendly banter at the tables. He has called the game "boring" which is quite a statement coming from a Certified Public Accountant. Steve hasn't allowed his life to change much since his high profile WSOP appearance, and has remained humble often reiterating his claim that he is the 4th best player in his home game.
Steve has continued to play a casual poker schedule in the years following his arrival on the scene, as well as persisting as a CPA. He lives in Severn, Maryland.
