Matt Glantz
Simply put, many top pros consider Matt to be the best all-around poker player in the world today. His tournament results are phenomenal: nearly $2,000,000 in major tournament earnings highlighted by one of the most incredible feats in WSOP history -- final tabling the $50k HORSE event only a few weeks after final tabling the World Championship 8-game Mixed Event in 2008 (he took 4th and 3rd, respectively, for over $700k in winnings).
As impressive as his results surely are, Matt has played far fewer tournaments than many pros of his caliber, favoring high stakes cash games for years. He is a mainstay in the biggest games in Atlantic City (mostly at Borgata) and also travels to Bobby's Room at Bellagio in Las Vegas to play with the likes of Barry Greenstein, Phil Ivey, Ted Forrest, Doyle Brunson and others. These games often see first place tournament money change hands several times per weekend, and Matt has been an extremely successful player on a consistent basis.
When Matt isn't playing poker, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two beautiful children at their home in Lafayette Hill, PA. He remains active in the stock market, where he was very successful prior to poker. In 2009, Matt intends to play his first full WSOP schedule so everyone can expect to see him make a huge impact on the tournament scene in the near future.
