If you had to summarize Lee Childs in just one phrase, it would be -- fierce competitor. Growing up, it was on the wrestling mats and football fields where Lee excelled and captained both teams for Cave Spring High School in Virginia. Since his 7th place finish in the 2007 World Series of Poker Main Event, he has focused his energy on being a top professional poker player. As with every undertaking of Lee's in life, he has put his heart and soul into developing his game to become the very best he can be. In recognition of his efforts, Lee is now not only highly respected on the felt but widely respected as a poker instructor. He has been hired by the World Poker Tour to teach WPT Boot Camps and owns the training company, Acumen Poker http://www.acumenpoker.net. Lee is also very proud of his involvement with charities and he is truly one of the finest ambassadors for the game in that regard. Lee lives in Alexandria, Virginia with his wonderfully supportive wife Jenny.
