Tony Salerno has been playing on the professional poker circuit since 2005. He has put together an impressive resume of cashes that include several final tables in many events with huge fields in some of the most competitive tournaments in the world. Throughout his tenure as a poker professional he has become a respected advocate for poker players interests both on and off the felt. His leadership skills combined with the relationships he has with players, tournament directors and poker industry leaders, has established him the position as the New Jersey Director to the Poker Players Alliance. Tony enjoys playing all variations of poker tournaments , his skills in mixed games will surely lead to many more cashes in 09 and years to come.
Tony's accomplishments are also evident beyond the poker circuit. Captain Tony Salerno is a member of the Asbury Park Police Department, and is currently the Commander of the Investigative Section. He has received nine department citations including the Medal of Honor and the Combat Cross. Tony is also the President/CEO of Salerno Consultants inc., the parent company of Key Testing & Review a law enforcement training company. He lives in Howell, NJ with his wife and two Australian Shepherds . He enjoys golf , and anything that involves spending quality time with his two sons. |
